Tracking begins with eight Vintage Class A Neve 1073 Microphone Pre-Amps & Equalizers. 1073's are perfect for delivering the punch, meat and clarity on everything from drums, guitars, percussion, electric bass, acoustic piano- just about anything that you want to sound big and fat! Launched in 1970, these popular sounding Mic Pre Amps are considered by many to capture the very essence of the Neve sound. The Class A design of the module offers 3 bands of EQ with a fixed high frequency band, and two switchable bands with cut and boost mids & bottom. There simply the best!

With the Track Rack- You'll now have your choice of FIVE unique brands of stereo & mono compressor/limiters to smooth and sweeten your sound. Two UREI 1176LN (black face of course) limiters are the perfect compliment to drum and bass tracks, especially coming from a 1073 Mic Pre! A very versatile unit, the 1176LN can give you everything from a crushing gritty "in your face" sound, to fattening and smoothing guitar and vocal tracks. The trusted Neve 33609C is fantastic as two mono compressor/limiters, or linked for true stereo compression for applications such as drum overheads or stereo electronic instruments. A pair of soon-to-be classic Empirical Labs EL-8 Distressors are also included, and much like the 1176LN, they are a very versatile unit giving you a wide range of dynamic control for any sound source. The Tube-Tech LCA-2B is another stereo compressor/limiter also perfect for stereo room mics, drum overheads, stereo guitars- or just about any stereo source that could benefit from valve compression & limiting. Last but certainly not least is the highly sought after Teletronix LA-2A; a tube leveling amplifier loved for its subtle and transparent sound. Best of the best for all your dynamics needs!

Also included, is the Focusrite ISA-430 Producers Pack. The 430 is a professional analogue audio processor with a multi-format digital output board. The ISA 430 is the first Focusrite product to include a range of different classic Focusrite modules in a single unit. A Mic/Line Pre with compressor, limiter, equalizer, gate, and de-s-er with output AES/EBU sampling rates up to 96K, it also includes a built-in direct box input- All of which can be used in combination with the analog and digital output. The ISA-430 is truly a 'Producer Pack', which combines the best of analogue and digital technologies. You have to hear this box, we simply can not say enough about it! Try it on your bass tracks- WOW!

Last but not least is the API 500 Series Frame (see the home page). We've replaced the API Lunchbox (which is still available separately with four great tools of your choice) with TEN API 512C Microphone Pre Amplifiers. Besides the Ten Mic Pre Amps, you also get either two API 550B's Four Band Eq's, or two classic API 560B Ten band Graphic Equalizers. All together your getting nineteen Mic/Line Pre-Amplifiers, ten compressor/limiters, and ten equalizers. It doesn't get any better than this! The API sound is a must have for drums, guitars- whatever! BTW: Every channel of API 512C has a direct input; which is great for analog keyboards, direct guitars, or general line bussing.
