The Robb brothers, owners of Cherokee Studios, have a 35-year history in the entertainment industry. Starting their musical careers in the 1960's the Robbs became stars of "Where the Action Is," an ABC network television show hosted and produced by Dick Clark. In the early 1970's they founded Cherokee Studios on their ranch in Chatsworth, California. Shortly thereafter, the studio produced its first gold album, "Pretzel Logic," by Steely Dan. In 1975, the brothers purchased M.G.M. Recording Studios and renamed it Cherokee Studios.
Cherokee can boast well over 200 gold and platinum albums, countless major motion picture scores and soundtracks, and an impressive client list that reads like a who's who of American music. The studio is a world-renowned recording facility located one block North of the hip and trendy Melrose shopping district on Fairfax Avenue in the heart Hollywood.
